After claiming he was gifted a Cybertruck by Elon Musk, Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov is now accusing the Tesla CEO of remotely disabling the vehicle. Back in August, Kadyrov took to social media to thank Musk for what he called “a gift from the heart,” and mentioned it would soon head to the battlefield.
Once the vehicle was reportedly disabled, the leader’s tone changed. His praise turned to criticism, taking to Telegram once again, this time saying Musk cutting off the Cybertruck “isn’t manly.”
Musk strongly denied ever sending a Cybertruck to Russia or Kadyrov. Despite having to tow the first of the trucks, the warlord says he has sent two additional armed Cybertrucks to the front lines of Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Tesla has yet to comment on whether the vehicle can be remotely disabled, but Kadyrov claims his new Cybertrucks are still operational.
