China is reiterating a neutral stance in the Russia-Ukraine War. The foreign minister told the media, Friday, April 14, that China won’t sell weapons to either side.
The remarks come as U.S. officials publicly cast doubt over China’s intentions as the Chinese Communist Party continues to have a close working relationship with Russia.
China could also be answering for bold accusations coming from the series of leaked classified material from the Pentagon.
According to a leaked secret document, China approved a “provision of lethal aid” to Russia earlier in 2023 and planned to disguise military equipment as civilian items in order to get weapons to Russia without the world noticing. That information apparently was obtained through the U.S. eavesdropping on Russia’s foreign intelligence service. The document was dated Feb. 23.
Not only is the U.S. having to answer for the security mishap that has left secrets exposed, but other countries are now having to answer to the claims coming from the revealed classified documents.
