How technology could transform the human body by year 3000

Full story

Researchers are sharing a look into the far future. They’ve created a rendition of what human beings could look like by the year 3000.

Researchers at Toll Free Forwarding have put together a model, claiming it depicts how humans could evolve based on our habits with technology now.

They introduced Mindy, an AI-generated human from the future. She has a hunched back and a wide neck from staring down at a device all day.

Researchers envision human arms will be permanently stuck at a 90 degree angle, with at least one clawed hand, as the result of time spent holding and looking at our phones.

The model also predicts humans may develop a larger inner eyelid to keep up with the amount of strain we put on them due to screen time.

The tech company that made the rendering put it together with the help of some doctors who said it’s healthy to put down that phone from time to time.

With tech always changing, scientists predict computers and devices will be integrated into our bodies in the future, forgoing the ways we use it today.
