The U.K. will not challenge the International Criminal Court (ICC)’s arrest warrant for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to new British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s office. ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan sought the warrants in May because of Israel’s actions in Gaza. The warrants were received as another step to isolate Israel on the global stage. A spokesperson confirmed that Starmer’s government will not pursue the previous government’s proposal to reject the warrants, affirming it is a matter for the court.
