On Sunday, Oct. 20, former President Donald Trump joined McDonald’s workers at a location in Bucks County, Pennsylvania — a key battleground state. Trump served up french fries to drive-thru customers eager to get a moment with the former president. With less than two weeks until Election Day, Trump and Harris are in a tight race for the popular vote.
In the video above, Straight Arrow News contributor Dr. Rashad Richey argues that Trump’s fast-food stunt is a gimmicky ploy, revealing him as unserious about policy and politics.

The following is an excerpt from the above video:
What good does it do you to put somebody in position who you may like, you may enjoy laughing at, but they could care less about solving the real challenges that you have in front of you. You do not progress. You do not move the collective forward. You do not have a policy champion in Donald Trump, and you know it, and because he is so weak on policy, he is so incapable of providing policy solutions for you, he decides to give you tactics.
He decides to sway at campaign rallies to music rather than give you an actual speech. He’d rather duck, dodge, deny and deflect debates. He’d rather not do tough interviews. He is no policy champion.
And then, how does it hurt Democrats? It hurts Democrats because there are many Democrats who can get away with doing almost anything, delivering nothing, and then saying, “What choice do you have? You’re going to vote for this guy. You’re going to vote for his cronies? You’re going to participate in an election and not vote for the Democrat?“
